The next couple of days will be an emotional roller coaster for a lot of people, we are just putting the finishing touches on ” Operation Canadian Heroes”, and getting the database with all the Canadian Soldiers burial locations around the world completed. When we post it up you will be able to see the vast scale of this operation, over 100,000 soldiers buried in 75 Countries. Next year we will have all 75 Countries covered, so start to make plans on doing some travelling to some far flung places, and doing service to your Country at the same time. This year and next if you cant travel find the vets buried in your local cemetery and go by, pay your respects and plant a flag. Make this a tradition and teach your kids and hand it down to them. Tell your friends, co-workers, anyone, share this face book post to all your friends walls as well. As a Country we can do this, every soldier buried deserves a flag on his/her grave. The official planting of the 1st Canadian Flag to launch the operation will be put on my Fathers grave, a veteran of WW2, by myself, and as I write this some Patriots are getting ready to head to France, were they will be placing a flag on my grandfathers grave whom died in Normandy, in 1944. -Chris Ecklund
