Just learned from an old squadron buddy about the passing of one of my old Commanding Officers of 779 Royal Canadian Air Cadets, Captain Charles Boden.
Captain Boden passed away Jan 23, he was 88 years old.
He was a man that deeply cared about us young cadets, I remember fondly him saying how much he cared about us and always making sure we were well taken care of.
His house was also right in front of the bus stop were I used to catch the bus, and he would wave at times at me when I was waiting to get the bus to were I was going.
Rest in peace Captain Boden.
