5 years ago today we lost Sapper Steven Marshal, whom was K.I.A., Steven was from them the 1st Combat Engineering Regiment based in Edmonton, Alberta, serving as a member of the Task Force 3-09 Battle Group.
Sapper Marshall was conducting a foot patrol in the Panjwayi District when he was killed.
