Once again we need your help. A family is in need of a wheelchair ramp for their house. 2 years ago the community came together when the call was put out and answer you did, the response was so overwhelming it literally brought those involved to tears. This time we have a gentleman that is literally “trapped” in his house they dont qualify for assistance, so its time that we band together and take care of one of our own. We are going to need wood to build the ramp, and or donations to purchase the building materials. Any fundraisers that you can think of doing would be appreciated. The house is located in Hamilton, Ontario in ward 6, my good and dear friend councilor Tom Jackson is the lead on this project, and the Angels at The Carpenters Union Local 18 have once again stepped up to the plate to help out.
