Today is a very special day for all Canadians to come together to pay honour to those that served in Afghanistan, and to remember those that we lost. If you are in Hamilton, come to City Hall tonight for 630pm, for the ceremony, I have 2,000 Canadian Flags I will be bringing as well, after the ceremony is finished depending on the weather we may do our traditional Red Friday waterfall illumination as well. Those that attend, and pick up a Canadian Flag, please take it home with you and tomorrow find a veterans grave in your area and plant it on their grave. …read more

Today is the day to open up the waterfall at Canadian Heroes HQ. The good folks at Clearwater Ponds will be here and start her up, check for leaks, then give her a good cleaning. The calming effect of a waterfall is second to none, which is why I had it built here in the 1st place. Health professionals around the world also know this and some use it in treatment as well, keep an eye on our page throughout today as we get her up and running, hopefully she has no leaks and I will post a video up later for all to enjoy!

Feel free to stop by and watch them work their magic, they start at 11:30 am, and will go till about 5pm at 530 Scenic Drive in Hamilton. Pictures and video will follow for those that cant make it.
