Canadian Heroes Racing, quote of the night. Bev McCraw (Silver Cross Mother) to the 45 driver Kevin Trevellin over the radio during the race “Kevin, you’re not going fast enough”. As the conversation was on the radio, we could not hear the response from Kevin. But we can imagine!!
Most humourous comment made? The LOSC announcer doing the on track introductions ” And driving the Canadian Heroes number 45 race car, Kevin “The SURVIVOR” Trevellin”.

Tonight we raced in honour of Sgt. Shawn Allen Eades, the fallen hero to whom we owe our thanks. We truly hope that our Silver Cross mother, Bev McCraw enjoyed the Memorial Race experience! Thank you NWRA and CVFR’s for the honour guard to bring the family to the track. I truly would like to thank the 45 team for their hard work, their dedication and their focus. While it is hard for some to understand that we are a memorial team in a memorial race, we enjoyed the honour of completing another memorial race.

Well its 4am, and members of the team are still on the road, after the race we had everyone back to Canadian Heroes HQ, and had a nice chat and visit!!! We started in 10th and think we finished in 7th, but what really mattered is that we raced in memory of one of our fallen heroes, it was a great night, hope the team gets some sleep, even though you will get to sleep when the sun is coming up…..Great Job Everyone!!! …read more
