Another special day….
…We arrived at Badger’s Place at 1:30 pm in the pouring rain. We were greeted by the staff and they had prepared pizza and chicken for us. We were presented with a cake welcoming the Canadian Heroes Car to Badger’s Place. Although the weather didn’t cooperate and the power was out, 30 people came to see the Canadian Heroes car and to welcome us to Badger.
At Badger’s Place, we had the honour of meeting the family of fallen soldier Capt. Frank Paul, his mother, Madonna, and sister, Joan.
Thank you to Diane, Lillian, Holly, Debbie, Marilyn for your wonderful hospitality. And a special thank you to Mike(Darren), who was not able to be there but planned our special welcome.
