On Monday June 20, 2011 Canadian Heroes along with Astral Media had their first Annual Golf Tournament to raise funds for a memorial for Sgt. Shawn Eades. We can say that the day was a 100% success. We would like to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, Bev McCraw (mother to Sgt. Shawn Eades) and Knollwood Golf Club for putting on such a great event and service being top notch. A special thanks to Kimberly Lindsay, whose dedication and hard work and many sleepless nights to plan such a fantastic event. Also we cannot forget to thank Mr. Chris Ecklund whose vision and dedication from the inception of Canadian Heroes has taken it well past what he has ever expected Canadian Heroes to be. We continue to grow with the support of everyone who is involved and supports us…so thank you.
