The City of Greater Sudbury has paid tribute to a fallen hero. Officials of the City of Sudbury’s Emergency Services had the official unveiling and dedication of the former Chelmsford Ambulance Station.
The facility is now known as the Private Andrew Miller Ambulance Station which took place November 15, 2012. Friends and members of Private Miller family along with CH #8 were on hand for the unveiling.
Miller, who was born and raised in Sudbury, was killed while in Afghanistan in June 2010.
He was serving as a medic at the time of his death and had expressed an interest in becoming a Greater Sudbury Paramedic after fulfilling his military commitments.
