I am very happy to report on a major development for the Canadian Heroes Race Team. Two years ago, I started dreaming on the possibility of getting some of our high school students involved with our racing program.
Today I am very proud to say that it has become a reality.
Long time friend and high school teacher at Delta high school in Hamilton, Mr. Chris Behrens, will head up a special group of students that will learn everything that is involved in racing, including building a car, fixing it and maintaining it.
I have always said that if we could build in an educational component to the team then that would be as important as winning itself, for here the students will be part of something very very special.
As a former Auto student myself that spent 4 years and auto being my major, I can tell you that if this offer was made to my class, we would have a riot in our shop!!!
