The Canadian Tire Trans Am series kicked off it’s 2012 season at Motorsort Park May 18 – 20.
Ian Michael Patterson was unveiling his newly wrapped Canadian Heroes Corvette.
Ian has teamed up with Canadian Heroes in 2012 to promote awareness for those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
During practising, the car had some issues and was in need of some repairs, luckily the team got everything sorted out and the car was a go!
Ian qualified 9th place and after a gruelling and tiresome race finished an impressive 2nd place finish!!! A forest fire ended the race several laps early. Ian is quoted as saying “a million thanks to the guys and gals at Gateway keeping me in the game…”
We at Canadian Heroes congratulate Ian on his 2nd place finish and are excited to see what the rest of the 2012 season holds.
