In Hamilton Saturday night Silver Cross Mother Bev McCraw ( Mother of Sgt Shawn Eades K.I.A., Aug 20, 2008) had her Canadian Flag and pole stolen from her front porch.
Ms. McCraw is 1 of 2 Silver Cross mothers in Hamilton, all of her neighbours know Bev and were she lives and the loss of her son whom died in Afghanistan fighting the war on terror. The area is home to many students from Mohawk College whom rent housing and on that evening there were loud parties and kids were seen walking the streets that appeared to be under the influence.
With the approaching date of November the 11th, this has hit her very deeply.
Ms. McCraw drove throughout the neighbour for over 2 hours looking for her flag but to no avail.
We are asking anyone that may know of the guilty party(ies) involved to return the flag and pole and no questions will be asked.
